Why take TOEFL?
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is a standardized test to measure the English language ability of non-native speakers wishing to enroll in English-speaking universities. TOEFL is one of the two major English-language tests in the world, the other being the IELTS.
TOEFL is a trademark of the Educational Testing Service (ETS), a private non-profit organization, which designs and administers the tests. ETS issues official score reports which are sent independently to institutions and are valid for two years following the test.
The TOEFL® test is a highly respected English-language proficiency test that can get you noticed by thousands of universities all over the world. When you choose the TOEFL® test, you’re showing universities that you’ve got what it takes to succeed in an academic environment.
TOEFL scores are accepted by more than 11,000 universities and other institutions in over 150 countries, including over 905 of universities in the U.S., over 80% of programs in Canada, 100% of all universities in Australia and New Zealand, most universities in French and Germany, and more than 98% of the universities in UK.
